Playtri Kids Triathlon is for kids ages 6 - 14 years old interested in fun competition in the sport of triathlon.

USAT Membership

The Kids Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event. All youth participants must be a current annual member of USAT or purchase an annual membership for $5 at packet pick up. Do not send USAT permit fee with entry fee.

All established USAT rules will be in effect and will be strictly enforced. You must show your USAT member card and your photo ID at packet pick up - no exceptions. Parents/Legal Guardians may pick up packets for their children and the child does not have to be there.

 

 

Awards/Amenities

All racers who are registered by May 1st are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt and goodie bag when they pick up their packet.

All finishers will receive a finisher’s medal when they cross the finish line.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Keep Irving Beautiful Fund.

Weather

Average temperature on race day: low 75 - high 95.

For safety reasons, Playtri Racing reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.

 

 

Chip Timing by Run-Far

^

This is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. Timing chips are assigned to participants according to bib number. Please pick up your timing chip the morning of the race at the chip timing station beginning an hour before race start. ALL TIMING CHIPS SHOULD BE RETURNED AFTER YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE. A $30.00 fee will be charged to the participant if the timing chip is not returned. Awards are based on chip times.
