Free Weekly Workouts

Playtri's weekly workouts are designed to give people around the DFW area the opportunity to train together in a fun and challenging atmosphere.  Our coaches are here to help you enjoy training while gaining insightful knowledge of swimming, biking and running for triathlon.  Our coaches are USAT and Playtri Certified and will guide and direct your effort at free weekly workouts.

Free Open Water Swim Schedule

Open Water Swim at Lake Lewisville Pier 121

Every Saturday from July 9 - September 17 from 7am to 8:30am.
*Join us for a Free bike ride from The Colony Store right after the open water swim.

Dallas

WEDNESDAY

5:30am-7am RUN Dynamic Warm Up, Drills, Hills / Speed Workout, Stretching Cool Down

PLEASE BRING:

Running shoes, water, nutrition, light if needed/reflector, cell phone, & smiles

REMINDER: Please eat ~150-200cal + water prior to workouts, ~30min prior

NOTE:

If it rains, YES we run...

If it is below 28degrees, YES we will have an indoor workout!

Thursday

6pm-7:30pm TRAINER BIKE

Dynamic Warm Up, Drills, Intervals, Stretching Cool Down

Tuesday

6pm-7pm Strength - functional strength for posture, swimming, biking and running

WEDNESDAY

6pm-7pm Track Workout at Cross Timbers(subject to change)

Thursday

6pm-7pm Bike - drills, hills and endurance

Saturday

7:30am- Social ride - no drop 25 miler

 

 

THE COLONY/PLANO

TUESDAY

5:45am Track - Plano West High School (Coach Gerald)

THURSDAY

6pm-6:45pm Hill Repeats on Windhaven (Coach Gerald)

SaturDAY

9:00 AM - Ride 1- 10-20 Miles No-drop beginner ride 8-15miles/ hour Ride 2- 20-50miles 14-20miles/hour

Immediately following the bike we will do a 30-60 min brick run

 

 

MCKINNEY

Tuesday

6:00-7:00pm Group Bike (alternates one week hills/one week speed work)

WEDNESDAY

6:00-7:00pm Drills, pacing, and endurance based runs

Saturday

7:00am Indoor Trainer Ride

7:30-9:00am 20 Mile No Drop and 25-30 Mile B Rides (we move inside if weather is bad - check Facebook for updates!)

 

ROCKWALL CYCLING

SATURDAY:

START LOCATION FOR ROAD RIDES: Unless noted otherwise, road rides leave from the Store. Meet in the Rockwall Crossing parking lot in front of the store. Everyone will roll out together, around halfway out the faster group will ramp up the pace and let everyone settle into their pace group. The fast group will do between 33 and 60 miles depending on what they want to do. The Fitness group will regroup at the turn around and ride back in together. There are ride leaders depending upon your pace (19-20mph and 16-17mph).
