Directions: Dallas Tollway to 121 South. Right on Morning Start Dr. Left on Memorial. Parking will be in lot next to the Aquatic Center which will be up on your right.

Sprint: 350 meter pool swim – 13 mile bike (2 loops) – 5k run

Transition will be open from 5:30am - 7:00am.
Course Notes: The swim is in 50 meter indoor pool.
The bike is on nice concrete urban roads. The course is slightly hilly but fast. Each major intersection and turn around will be traffic controlled with directional assistance.
The run course is fairly flat. Aid stations will be located approximately every 1 mile. Each aid station is equipped with water and Pure Sport.
The course officially closes at 11am for all participants.

Eligibility - The minimum age to participate is 13. The right to accept or reject any entry is reserved. For younger participants, please contact staci@playtri.com.

All participants must observe all cut-off times and USAT rules and regulations.
Failure to meet cut-off times will result in disqualification and removal from the course.

Special Challenge to Firefighters, Police, and EMT. If you are a policeman, firefighter or EMT, we have a special awards category. We will go 3 deep and the department with the most participants will also receive a special award. Come see who the best of the best is!

| USAT Membership |

The
Take on the Heat
Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must be a current annual member of USAT or purchase a one day permit for $10 at packet pick up. Do not send USAT permit fee with entry fee.
All established USAT rules will be in effect and will be strictly enforced. You must show your USAT member card and your photo ID at packet pick up - no exceptions. Friends and family will not be allowed to pick up anyone's packet. If you are an annual USAT member and do not bring your member card to packet pick up, you must buy a $10 one day membership. There are no more duplicate applications. USAT no longer allows the purchase of annual memberships at packet pick up.

Average temperature on race day: low 75 - high 95.
For safety reasons, Playtri reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.

| Chip Timing by Run-Far |

This is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. Timing chips are assigned to participants according to bib number. Please pick up your timing chip the morning of the race at the chip timing station beginning an hour before race start. ALL TIMING CHIPS SHOULD BE RETURNED AFTER YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE. A $30.00 fee will be charged to the participant if the timing chip is not returned. Awards are based on chip times.
