Swim course is a dive start, and will be in an excellent, spectator friendly lake with viewing points from several areas.
Bike is on clean urban roads.
The run course will have mile markers at every mile. It has some false flats, but overall the course is fairly flat. Aid stations will be located approximately every 1 mile. Each aid station is equipped with water and Powerade.
USAT Youth F-1 and EDR Course
Youth F-1: 375 meter swim - 10 kilometer bike - 1.5 mile run
EDR: 750 meter swim - 20 kilometer bike - 3 mile run

Free USAT F1 and EDR Pre-Race Clinic
Swim Start at Race Site - Dallas Marriott Las Colinas
Friday, June 1st - 1:00PM-2:30PM
Join Regional Developmental Coordinator Shelly O'Brien and USAT certified coaches Darrick Walls and Morgan Johnson for a thorough course and transition review, drafting practice, and strategy Q&A. This clinic will be beneficial for both beginners and experienced youth elite athletes alike.
This is a USAT sanctioned clinic and all participants must be annual USAT members, or must purchase a one-day membership for $10 cash or check the day of to participate in the clinic.
This clinic is only for youth athletes who are registered for the F1 and EDR events on June 2nd.
F-1 Draft-Legal Training Program
Playtri's Lead Developmental Coach Morgan Johnson will be bringing together some of the area's best youth swimmers, cyclists, runners and triathletes to train for the F1 races on June 2nd. This will be an eight week course for young men and women ages 12-16 with multiple weekly practice sessions and lectures designed specifically for participating athletes. The program will be based out of the Playtri Performance Center in Dallas, TX.

International Triathlon Union Rules and Regulations

Athletes registering for the ITU Triathlon Pan-American Cup Event must have a current pro license with the appropriate federation or governing body.
Please note that ALL races (Pan-American Cup, Elite Development, and F1) are limited to 75 women and 75 men. Once races reach the limit, athletes will no longer be able to register. No exceptions.

Weather/Water Temperature
Average temperature on race day: low 75 - high 95.
Water temperature will probably not be wetsuit legal. ITU Wetsuit rules will apply.
For safety reasons, Playtri Racing reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.
Chip Timing by Run-Far
This is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. Timing chips are assigned to participants according to bib number. Please pick up your timing chip the morning of the race at the chip timing station beginning an hour before race start. ALL TIMING CHIPS SHOULD BE RETURNED AFTER YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE. A $30.00 fee will be charged to the participant if the timing chip is not returned. Awards are based on chip times.
