Saturday, July 25th 10am at all packet pick up locations. We will go over what to expect on race day, how to set up your transition and open it up for general questions anyone has.
Group Training Program for the Tolltag Triathlon

Awards and Amenities
- Top 3 Overall Open Male and Female.
- Open Wave is not eligible for Age Group awards and is intended for elite amateur athletes.
- Top Overall Masters and Grand Masters male and female.
- Age Group / Weight Class awards will be 3 deep for both Male and Female.
- Relay Team awards will be for top 3 overall relays.
- All Finishers will receive a Finisher Medal.

Weather / Water Temp
Average temperature on race day: low 70 - high 90.

Water temperature will be wetsuit legal. USAT Wetsuit rules will apply - participants allowed to wear a wet suit without penalty in any event sanctioned by USA Triathlon up to and including a water temperature of 78 degrees Fahrenheit. When the water temperature is greater than 78 degrees, but less than 84 degrees Fahrenheit, age group participants may wear a wet suit at their own discretion, provided however that participants who wear a wet suit within this temperature range shall not be eligible for prizes or awards. Age group participants shall not wear wet suits in water temperatures equal to or greater than 84 degrees Fahrenheit.
For safety reasons, Playtri Racing reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.
Chip Timing by Run-Far
This is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. Timing chips are assigned to participants according to bib number. Please pick up your timing chip the morning of the race at the chip timing station beginning an hour before race start. ALL TIMING CHIPS SHOULD BE RETURNED AFTER YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE. A $30.00 fee will be charged to the participant if the timing chip is not returned. Awards are based on chip times.

This Event is organized by the Kiwanis Club of Southern Denton County to benefit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Denton County. CASA provides trained community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children, and to promote community awareness about child abuse issues.
