Comments about Coach Ahmed:
  • "I know you have heard a lot of great accolades about your training methods and the rest of it.  I am impressed as well, with your knowledge, and what it has done for my racing.  But most importantly, what it has done for my health.  Your techniques and understanding of our sport has given me a new perspective to appreciate life for what it is, not what we want it to be.  Ahmed, I am very excited about all of the camps and club meetings I will attend as well as our one-on-one sessions in 2008.  Thanks for all you have done for me in 2007 which will carry me way past this year." Sohail

  • “It was great to see you and Staci in Lubbock this weekend and I appreciate all your support.  The training went well this past week and the race was about as good as I can expect at this point in my training.  Your coaching has made a tremendous impact on my race performance and I want to thank you for all you have done.  I followed your pacing advice during the race and could feel the difference it made on the second half of my run.  I did make some mistakes and will work on them during training.  Your techniques work.  I’m living proof!”  Mark

  • "That was a WONDERFUL clinic last night. I was wondering how I was going to get into those bike shoes but now it is very easy. My mountain biking skills come in handy in that I am accustomed to just running and jumping on a bike. I also wanted to let you know that I appreciated the attention you gave me during track last week. Although I am a beginner, I am striving to do very well in my first Sprint next month. With the transition capabilites that I will practice over the next month, this will take pressure off of my swimming time (I have alot of work to do in swimming). Thanks again." Ted

  • "I just wanted to write and say thanks for all your work and diligence in getting me ready for the Eagleman Triathlon. You were right, there is nothing like crossing the finish line of an event like that. It was beyond my expectations. I can't stop thinking about it as well as trying to shave off a minute here and a minute there. I guess that is also a part of it. It was great to see such a large group do it at the same time and all accomplish what they set out to do. It is also interesting to have such a wide range of emotions run through you from wanting to laugh, cry, and cheer all at the same time. Thanks again for getting me ready for such a challenge and now I ready to start training for the Whiterock. I feel that this is one more event to shoot for that seems much more doable after this weekend."
