Course Notes
Santa Chase is 100 yard dash where the kids get to Chase Santa to the finish line where Candy Canes await all finishers!
The course officially closes at 10:00am for all participants.
This event is insured and sanctioned by USA Track & Field. Per USATF safety rules and insurance, no pets are allowed on the 5K course. We love our furry kids too, but safety first. Pets are welcome in the 1M fun event. Strollers are allowed to be safely integrated into the event. The minimum age to participate in the 5K is 6 and no minimum age for the 1 mile.
Under no circumstance should children or adults be allowed to participate in sanctioned events on a scooter, roller, or inline skates, on bikes or e-bikes.
The use of personal music devices during the race is strongly discouraged. To enjoy all that participating in a race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, race management encourages a headphone-free environment during the event. Safety has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority. Please be mindful of the other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone.
We reserve the right to change any event course at any time due to safety, weather conditions, or other production concerns.

5K AWARDS
Awards will be given to the Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female in 5K. Age group awards will be awarded to the top three in each of age group.
Fun Run will not be timed.

Weather
Average temperature on race day: low 40 - high 60.
For safety reasons, Playtri Racing reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.
Chip Timing
The 5K is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. We will be using disposable chips for this event that you will receive attached to your bib at packet pickup.
Please wear your bib VISIBLY on the FRONT for timing purposes.
Please wear your bib number on the front and not covered with clothing or race belts.
Covered bibs may not be readable to the timing equipment.
Please only have your own bib on you when in the race. If you have someone else’s bib number, timing results will be affected.
REFUND POLICY
No Refunds or Transfers allowed.
This event follows the standard running industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice.
