Dash, Drink, and Dink at Heroes’ Day hosted by Sarah Naylor, Realtor, and Racquet & Jog!
Join us for a 5k, 10k, and half marathon on Saturday, November 9th, at McLendon-Chisholm City Hall. Following the races, we'll have an after-party at Tate Farms with food trucks, music, and more! Then on Sunday, November 10th, bring your A-game to the pickleball court for our doubles tournament at Oasis Pickleball Club.
Heroes’ Day was birthed out of a desire to recognize the first responders in our community. Through this event, we want to honor these individuals and show them our support and appreciation. Proceeds from the event will go to local nonprofit, Home & Heart, and benefit our first responders.
All 3 courses are USATF certified. USATF Course Certifications may be viewed under the tab Course.

Course
One water stop available on the 5K course. You will run throught the water stop twice.
Two water stops available on the 10K course. You will run throught each water stop twice.
Three water stops available on the Half Marathon course. You will run throught each water stop twice twice.

Course notes:
Eligibility - The minimum age to participate in the half marathon is 12 years, 10K is 9, for the 5K is 6.
The course officially closes at 11:00am for all participants.
Dogs, unfortunately, cannot be allowed in the race. We love our furry kids too but insurance does not allow them in running events. Strollers are allowed to be safely integrated into the event.

Weather
Average temperature on race day: low 60 - high 80.
For safety reasons, Playtri Racing reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.
Chip Timing
This is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. Timing chips are assigned to participants according to bib number. We will be using disposable chips for this event that you will receive with your bib at packet pick up. The timing tag/ chip will be glued to the back of your bib - please do not remove or fold the chip.
