10:30 AM CDT - Race support ends, awards ceremony begins
12:00 PM CDT - Event closes. All runners need to be able to finish the race and vacate by this time.

The race begins at Cockrill Middle School, and continues on paved trails through Bonnie Wenk Park. The 5K turnaround is just after the course crosses under Virginia Parkway. The 10K course continues south of Al Ruschhaupt soccer complex and the turnaround point is just before the trail reaches Highway 75.
There will be water stops at the 5K turnaround and the 10K turnaround mark.
The run course is moderately hilly.

Eligibility - The minimum age to participate in the 10k is 9, 5k is 6 and no minimum age for the 1k. The right to accept or reject any entry is reserved. For younger participants, please contact email@example.com.

Race morning pick up is available from 7:00 - 7:30am.
10K & 5K
Overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place - Masters overall 1st place - Age groups in 5 year increments 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
Cotton Race T-Shirt, finisher medal, snacks, drinks, plus the opportunity to meet the mounted patrol police officers and their horses. Additional amenities may be added.

Many volunteers from numerous North Texas civic organizations are committed to make your race a safe and memorable experience.
Average temperature on race day: low 69 - high 90.
For safety reasons, Playtri Racing reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.
This is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. Timing chips are assigned to participants according to bib number. Please pick up your timing chip the morning of the race at the chip timing station beginning an hour before race start. Awards are based on chip times.
