Running 4 Renewal
Restoring Hope. Renewing Purpose
5K Run & 1-Mile Family Walk/Run
Run for Hope. Walk for Healing. Renew a Life.
Join us for the Little Elm inaugural Running for Renewal 5K run and 1-Mile Family run/walk. This a community event dedicated to restoring hope, rebuilding lives, and supporting individuals and families impacted by addiction, mental health challenges, trauma, grief, and other life-altering adversities.
Whether you are an experienced runner, a casual walker, someone in recovery, a family member supporting a loved one, or simply someone who believes in the power of second chances, this event is for you.
Together, we will take meaningful steps toward breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health while raising awareness and support for whole-person recovery.

Mission
Running for Renewal helps adults impacted by addiction and their families build lasting recovery, stability, and purpose through mentorship, accountability, movement, faith-centered support, and community engagement.
The Need
Many individuals successfully complete treatment but struggle to maintain long-term recovery due to a lack of ongoing support, healthy relationships, accountability, and community connection.
Our Solution
The Ysasaga Recovery Success Methodology™ addresses this gap through four pillars:
Spiritual Health • Mental & Emotional Health • Physical Health • Social Connection & Accountability
The methodology is delivered through Running for Renewal Communities—structured recovery-support communities established through partnerships with churches and other mission-aligned organizations.
Year One Goals
Serve 50–100 recovery participants and 50–100 family members, establish 2–5 pilot Running for Renewal Communities, train 15–25 volunteer mentors, engage 50+ volunteers, and host 350–500 participants at the annual Running for Renewal 5K Run and 1-Mile Run/Walk.
Signature Event
