Course Notes:
The swim is in beach/pool area with lifeguards on duty (not in the lake where the adults swim on Sunday).
The bike is on nice concrete urban road with cones separating kids from cars along with police support. The course is slightly hilly, but fun! On the run course there will be an aid station equipped with water and Powerade.
The course officially closes at 11am for all participants.

Eligibility - The minimum age to participate is 6. The right to accept or reject any entry is reserved. For younger participants, please contact info@playtri.com.
*Splash N Dash category has been added in 2017 to give kids an opportunity to try multipart! We encourage current triathletes (kids and adults) to bring friends and family and have them participate if they haven’t tried it or don’t have a bike yet. T-shirt and finisher medal included. Race will not be chip timed.
*If you want your child to be seeded properly by swim time, please make sure they are registered by Saturday September 16th. All athletes that are registered after this date, will be placed in numerical order by when they pick up their packet. All athletes will go in numerical order at this race.

Meet in the upper parking lot. Please bring everything your child needs to bike and run, including:
- Bicycle (in good working order)
- Helmet (properly fitted)
- FULL water bottle
- Closed toe athletic shoes
- Athletes may also bring any other items they normally use on race day
We will view the swim course, practice transitions, ride one loop of the bike course and preview the run course. There will be time at the end for Q&A.
Awards
All finisher's will receive a finisher's medal.
Top Three awards in the 6-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-15 age divisions.

USAT
Every participant must show photo ID and proof either of USAT annual membership. If one of these is not provided at packet pickup, the participant will be required to purchase an annual membership to pick up his or her packet, regardless of whether or not he or she already has a membership. ($10 for youth).
REFUND POLICY
No Refunds or Transfers allowed.
USAT YOUTH RACING RULES
In addition to the USAT Youth Racing Rules, please review the following rules thoroughly and make sure your child is prepared for race day - all USA Triathlon rules WILL be enforced:
- No flotation devices may be used during the swim.
- No training wheels are allowed on the bicycle.
- Only standard drop, straight, or curved handlebars are allowed. No aero or time trial bars may be attached to the bike or used during competition.
- No disk wheels or wheel covers are allowed.
- No time trial, “chrono,” or “aero” helmets with a tail may be used.

Weather
Average temperature on race day: low 60 - high 80.
For safety reasons, Playtri Racing reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.
Chip Timing
This is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. Timing chips are assigned to participants according to bib number. Please pick up your timing chip the morning of the race at the chip timing station beginning an hour before race start. ALL TIMING CHIPS SHOULD BE RETURNED AFTER YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE. A $30.00 fee will be charged to the participant if the timing chip is not returned. Awards are based on chip times.
