PLAYTRI OPEN WATER TRAINING
The Playtri Open Water Club is the longest-running weekly open water program in the DFW Metroplex. Athletes from all over the metroplex and from a variety of local and national coaching programs join us every week throughout the season.
IMPORTANT: Please note, no swim on March 28th due to IM 70.3 Texas! See you April 4th!
2026 PLAYTRI OPEN WATER SWIM: The Details
Swims every Saturday at 7:30 AM (March through September) at Pier 121 Marina on Lake Lewisville
Coached groups for skill development and deep water/long course implementation
Lifeguard and water craft at every practice
A true opportunity to work on pack swimming with consistently large weekly turnout
Weather and CANCELLATIONS
We will not swim if the water is 56°F or colder - we use Texas Parks & Wildlife for our water temperature determination:

The Fun Stuff:
Playtri OWS Waiver (print, sign and bring to your first swim of the season)
All athletes must bring and wear a brightly colored swim cap for OWS - no cap, no swim!
Wetsuits mandatory when water temp is 60 or below. Athletes with extensive cold-water swimming experience may email headcoach@playtri.com to request an exemption. Wetsuits are strongly recommended until water is above 70 degrees. Rental wetsuits available at our Dallas store: www.playtri.com/rentals.

There is a $14 per car fee, we recommend you carpool or park off-site and bike in!

Single Swim Drop-In: $10.00 (CASH ONLY, paid at time of swim)
Annual Membership: $100.00 (payment below)
